The location of this self-catering accommodation was absolutely amazing. Set in a beautiful part of Devon, it offered peace and tranquility, perfect for a relaxing stay. The surrounding nature, with woodpeckers, pheasants, and Jay's, was a joy to observe. Plus, being able to bring our pet and have a small garden for it to roam freely was a bonus. The owners, Debbie and Mark, were friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for nearby attractions. The proximity to Tavistock and Lydford Gorge made exploring the area easy. The cleanliness of the property and the provision of coffee, tea, milk, and fresh vegetables upon arrival were much appreciated. The coolness inside the property provided relief during the hot weather. our stay exceeded expectations, and we would definitely book again if we visit Tavistock.
The internet connection was slow, and there was no mobile phone reception, but this actually added to the peace and tranquility of the place. It allowed us to fully disconnect and unwind.

Debbie, the host, was extremely helpful with directions before our arrival, and even left tea, coffee. the cottage/annexe was cozy and full of character, with a lovely heating system, great shower pressure, and comfortable beds. the quiet location allowed us to sleep well, and we appreciated the spacious dining area and well-equipped kitchen. The surrounding area was beautiful, with plenty of places to visit, including the Dartmoor AONB. Cons: All good 😊.

Great value for money, cozy and comfortable room. The location was perfect for us, close to the village where we attended a wedding. The staff, especially Debbie, were extremely helpful and welcoming, providing clear directions and thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and milk on arrival.
Breakfast items could be improved, but the kitchen was equipped with all the basics for self-catering.
